Role Overview

As a Management Trainee at The Park Hotels, I was one of six selected for the prestigious program from a pool of 90 students. My role involved comprehensive training in both operational and managerial aspects of hotel management, leading to a rapid promotion and significant contributions to the hotel's success.

Leaving My Mark

During my tenure at The Park Hotels, I demonstrated a strong aptitude for both operational management and culinary excellence. My rapid progression and achievements within the management trainee program reflect my dedication, skill, and ability to contribute significantly to a luxury hospitality environment. The experience and knowledge gained have equipped me with a robust foundation for a successful career in hotel management.

  • Competitive Program Success: Ranked 1st in eight operational and managerial courses among a class of 60+ management trainees during an off-the-job training program, demonstrating exceptional knowledge and skills.

  • Rapid Promotion: Promoted to sous chef for the restaurant Italia within two months, overseeing all bakery operations and leading food and beverage outlets with a focus on quality and efficiency.

  • Operational Excellence: Managed various operational tasks across different departments, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the hotel’s services.

  • Leadership and Training: Developed leadership skills by managing a team of kitchen staff, providing training, and ensuring adherence to high standards of food quality and service.

  • Guest Satisfaction: Consistently contributed to high levels of guest satisfaction through attention to detail, excellent service, and a commitment to maintaining the hotel's standards.
